Hp printer alerts

This is a fix for the error messages "hp monitoring will damage your computer".  This is some kind form of potentially dangerous malware (google and search hp monitoring framework to verify).  Anyhow, this fix worked for me and I haven't seen any alerts or popups since Friday.

First step, will also fix slow Mac issues sometimes, is to go to the Apple in the upper left, select "system pref", select "users and groups", and select "login items". If you see anything listed with a yellow triangle next to it, remove it by hitting the minus (-) sign. Restart computer.

Next, try to open safari or chrome and the alert should pop up again. Click on send to apple and in the window that comes up, find the specific file name (example /users/...) Open finder, click on "on this Mac", type in the file name or hpmonitoring.framework and/or hpmonitoringhelper and in the list populated, find the match. Drag it to the trash, empty the trash, and restart your computer.  Removing and uninstalling the printer and readding it will not resolve the issue, as this is a form of malware coming from a user survey from hp. Once you get a popup, until you follow the steps above, it will be on your computer. Uninstalling and reinstalling the printer might temporary fix but as soon as you try to open chrome or safari again, the alert comes back. I did mine on Friday, it works fine now. Malwarebytes may or may not detect it, mine did not detect it. If you have any questions or need help, feel free to message me. For the person who said this is not a form of malware, do your homework. A simple google search on the file name will verify that it is in fact, a form of malware. Good luck everyone.
