@jackvink

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Could you share the screen where it's asking for the password?
  • Is your router dual-band enabled i.e., both 2.4GHz and 5GHz?
  • Are the printer and PC connected to the same network?

Keep me posted for further assistance.

Here are some photos. When I press on the WiFi (photo 1) and press on the button “network WiFi” (photo 2) and then I press on the button “instell” (settings) then I must give my password.

The same thing happens when I try this in the menu pressing on the button settings.
Hope you can help me.

Its looks like your router password screen. I would suggest using your wifi password.

And, also refer to the article: Connecting your wireless printer HP Wireless Setup Wizard (products with display)

Keep me posted!

Your advice for using the wifi password is not working. I have tried that several times allready.
The matter off the password occurs also when I press “instell” (settings) and choose for faxsettings, systemsettings, networksettings and servicingsettings or maintenancesettings. I hope this will make things clearer for you. Thanks.

Hello, I am having the same issue, I need to change the wifi network on my laserjet pro 200 m251nw printer and I can’t do anything without the printer password. I have no idea what it is and I’ve tried the wifi password, which hasn’t worked. Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,

Heather
