From my computer, it takes a long time for document to print and then it only prints page 1. From other phones or computers in the house it takes very little time and prints the entire document. There are no error messages.

Hi @Jeranorn,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
To address the printing issues with your HP OfficeJet 3830 All-In-One Printer, here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try.
Check Printer Connection and Settings
- Ensure your computer is connected to the same network as the printer.
- Restart your printer and computer to refresh the connection.
- Set the printer as the default printer on your computer.
- On Windows: Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners. Select your printer and click "Set as default."
- On Mac: Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners. Select your printer and right-click to set it as the default.
Update or Reinstall Printer Drivers
- Update your printer drivers to ensure compatibility with your system.
- On Windows: Go to Device Manager > Printers. Right-click on your printer and select "Update driver."
- On Mac: Go to System Preferences > Software Update to check for updates.
Check Print Spooler
- Clear the print spooler to remove any stuck print jobs.
- On Windows: Open the Services app, find "Print Spooler," right-click and select "Stop." Then go to C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS and delete all files. Restart the Print Spooler service.
- On Mac: Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and click on the "minus" button to remove it. Then add the printer back.
Update Printer Firmware
- Check if there is a firmware update available for your printer on the HP Support website. Follow the instructions to download and install any available updates.
Print a Diagnostic Page
- Print a test page or a printer status report to check if there are any issues with the printer itself.
- On the printer control panel, go to Setup > Reports > Printer Status Report.
Check Document Settings
- Ensure the document settings (such as page range) are correctly set when you print from your computer.
- Try printing a different document to see if the issue persists.

Reinstall the Printer Software
- Uninstall and reinstall the HP printer software on your computer.
- On Windows: Go to Settings > Apps, find the HP printer software, and uninstall it. Then download and install the latest version from the HP Support website.
- On Mac: Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners, select your printer, and click the "minus" button to remove it. Then reinstall the printer using the "plus" button and follow the prompts to add it back.
Check for Software Conflicts
- Ensure no other software is interfering with the printing process.
- Temporarily disable any antivirus or firewall software to see if it resolves the issue.
By following these steps, you should be able to identify and resolve the issue with your HP OfficeJet 3830 printer only printing the first page from your computer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
