Hi @Malta55,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are trying to change the WiFi network (SSID) on your HP DeskJet 2600 All-in-One Printer series after changing your internet provider, you'll need to reconnect the printer to the new WiFi network. Here's how you can do it:

Prepare for Setup:

  • Ensure your printer is turned on and has paper loaded.
  • Make sure your computer is connected to the new WiFi network that you want to connect your printer to.

Reset the Printer Network Settings (if needed):

  • If the printer was previously connected to another WiFi network, you might need to reset the printer's network settings. You can usually do this by pressing and holding the Wireless button (or the Cancel button) for about 5 seconds until the Power button starts to blink.

Connect the Printer to WiFi:

  • On your computer, search for and open the "HP Smart" app or the HP Printer Assistant (if installed). If you don't have it installed, you can download it from the Microsoft Store or HP's website.
  • Open the app and click on your printer model if it's not automatically detected.

Set Up the Printer:

  • Look for an option like "Setup", "Wireless Setup", or "Connect a new printer". Follow the prompts to reconnect your printer to the new WiFi network.
  • During setup, you may need to select the new WiFi network from the list of available networks and enter the password for the network.

Complete the Setup:

  • Once connected, the app should confirm that the printer is connected to the new WiFi network. You should also see the printer status change to "Online" or "Connected".

Test the Connection:

  • Print a test page from your computer to ensure that the printer is working correctly on the new network.

If you encounter any issues during this process, ensure that your computer and printer are within range of your WiFi router and that the network credentials (SSID and password) are entered correctly. If problems persist, resetting both your printer and WiFi router might help resolve connectivity issues.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
