HP 3520 printer does not connect to 5G router

I just set up a new 5G router through spectrum and it connected with most devices in my home but NOT my HP 3520 printer.  Have gone through all the steps multiple times and Spectrum advises they are working on a fix for these 5G routers so they can recognize the 2.4 HZ devices.  I’ve tried everything without buying a new router from a third party. Any other tips?!?

True - Printer does not support 5GHz.

"NOTE: The HP e-All-in-One only supports connections using 2.4GHz."

If you care to try it, the printer supports Wi-Fi Direct.

Might work and might be "good enough" for your needs.
