Hi @DDCS

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP 3755 printer is showing as offline and has a flashing orange light, here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

1. Check Printer Status

  • Ensure the printer is turned on and not in sleep mode. If it's in sleep mode, try pressing the power button to wake it up.

2. Check Connections

  • Wireless Connection: If you’re using Wi-Fi, make sure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android device.
  • USB Connection: If you're using a USB connection, ensure the cable is securely connected to both the printer and your device.

3. Restart Devices

  • Restart both your printer and Android device. This can often resolve connectivity issues.

4. Check Network Status

  • On the printer, print a network configuration page to check its connection status. You can usually do this from the printer's control panel.
  • Ensure that your router is functioning properly and that there are no connectivity issues.

5. Reinstall the HP Smart App

  • If you're using the HP Smart app on your Android device, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the app. This can help refresh the connection.
  • After reinstalling, follow the prompts to set up the printer again.

6. Update Printer Firmware

  • If you can access the printer settings via a computer, check for any firmware updates. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

7. Reset Network Settings

  • If your printer is still offline, consider resetting the network settings:
    • Go to the printer’s control panel.
    • Navigate to the network settings and look for an option to reset the network or restore factory settings.

8. Check for Errors

  • The flashing orange light may indicate a specific error. Check the printer's manual or HP’s support website for information about what the light pattern indicates.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
