My printer lost its settings, and does not let me set it up because it says it is already set up. The Wi-Fi + Cancel process only resets the Wi-Fi, but it does not let me get past that state. Does anyone know how to factory reset the entire printer without throwing it out?

Nothing but problems with this printer.

Hi @JM75034,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I'd like to help!

I understand you stuck on the wi-fi reset screen.

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thank you. Resetting the printer to factory settings did not work.

The Wi-Fi light keeps blinking and the Wi-Fi symbol in the LED panel keeps searching. Doesn't matter if the HP Printer App says I have 100% Wi-Fi signal strength, the printer does not connect to Wi-Fi. It isn't even 6 months old!

Any other suggestions?  Thank you
