Hi @jflann50
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP 6055e printer is having trouble connecting to the network after a Windows 11 update, there are several steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue. Here are some suggestions.
Restart the Printer and Computer:
- Turn off the printer and the computer.
- Wait for a few minutes and then turn them back on.
- Check if the printer connects to the network after the restart.
Check Wi-Fi Settings on the Printer:
- Access the printer's control panel or display.
- Navigate to the Wi-Fi settings and ensure that the correct Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password are entered.
- If the Wi-Fi button is not responding, try using the printer's control panel or software on your computer to reset the network settings.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Visit the official HP website and check for any available firmware updates for your printer model.
- If there is an update, follow the instructions provided by HP to update the firmware.
Reinstall Printer Drivers:
- Go to the "Settings" app on your Windows 11 computer.
- Navigate to "Devices" and then "Printers & scanners."
- Find your HP printer, select it, and click "Remove device."
- Download and install the latest printer drivers from the HP website.
Check Wi-Fi Signal Strength:
- Ensure that the printer is within the range of the Wi-Fi network, and there are no obstructions that may weaken the signal.
Reset the Network Settings on the Printer:
- On the printer's control panel, navigate to the network settings.
- Look for an option to reset the network settings to factory defaults.
- After resetting, set up the Wi-Fi connection again.
Remember to consult your printer's user manual or the HP support website for model-specific instructions.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
