Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.

I recently had to replace my DSL modem, changed my wireless network passcode in the new modem to what the old one was, every device connected to it just fine, but my HP 7520 printer states that it has an invalid passcode entered, so I reentered the passcode and it still shows as invalid eventhough I know it is correct.

How can I reset the printer and get it to recognize the wireless network?

After researching  the web, I updated the firmware on the printer and it connected right away.

I connected the printer to my computer via usb  cable

went to HP.com  software and drivers, input my model number and found

the firmware and downloaded and executed the file,

the printer then restarted and connected right away to the wireless network, the firmware must

have had a fix for the WPA2 passcode that the previous firmware didn't have
