HP 7740 - Scan to Computer disabled

Hi, the printer shows in the web interface under "Scan to Computer" the below message:

You cannot use this function because it has been disabled.

For more information, contact the person who set up the printer.

I restored the factory settings but no success. How can I enable "Scan to Computer" again?

What is my intention:

I want to have the scans saved automatically to a network path like this

\\IP-Address\Share\Directory

when something is scanned directly from the scanner without using any program on a PC. The scanner is far away from the PC so scanning with a program on the PC is not an option.

I hope this is possible.

I found it, run the "Embedded Web Server" by entering the printer IP in the browser:

1. Settings
2. Security
3. Administrator Settings
4. Printer Settings in the long list
5. Scan

HP 7740 doesn't support scan to network share. I bought the wrong printer. I got the wrong information by some stupid Google results.
