HP Officejet Pro 8610
Mac OS X 10.11 El Capitan

My HP Officejet Pro 8610 just stopped connecting to my wireless network.  I've tried rebooting the router and printer to connect multiple times, but it won't connect.  I haven't manually changed or updated anything that should have caused this to happen.

The issue was with Verizon.  They changed routers to the SON network, which tries to merge multiple WIFI settings in the home, but unfortunately isn't compatible with HP printers.  I had to call Verizon, and they disconnected the SON network on my router.

It says my MAC address filtering is causing a problem. I have to add the MAC address to my printer. How do i do that?

Hi @BY4,

I'd like to help!

You would have to add the printers mac address to the router, I recommend you contact the ISP to help you with.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
