Hi there

I am having the same problem with my HP printer 9015.  It says no ethernet.  I was previously connected to internet wirelessly but then I got this ethernet issue and it won't let me reconnect to the internet.  I have figured out how to bypass the internet and plug my laptop directly into the printer but I really need it to be wireless thru the internet because other devices need to print as well.  I tried network reset and factory reset.  Turned off and on the printer.  Turned off and on my modem.  The internet option has disappeared and won't let me connect to the internet.  Can you help?

Hi @CocoPuff70,

I'd like to help!

I understand that the printer does not give the wireless option

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
  • In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Support Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/notes/privatenotespage

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

I do not have a private message icon in the upper right corner.  I have a bell icon and my screen name which has a pull down menu and nothing in that menu says anything about messages.  And your link says I do not have access to it.  Can you message me with how to fix this problem some other way.  I can give you my email if that will help.
