@Stevenwray, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to help resolve the Wi-Fi disconnection issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025e All-in-One Printer on Windows 11, especially when the signal strength is good:
Restart All Devices
- Turn off your printer, computer, and router.
- Unplug the printer from the power source for 30 seconds.
- Restart your router and wait until it's fully back online.
- Plug in and turn on the printer and computer.
Check Wi-Fi Signal and Placement
- Ensure the printer is within 8 meters (26 feet) of the router.
- Avoid placing the printer near microwaves, cordless phones, or thick walls.
- The Wireless light on the printer should be solid blue. If it's blinking or off, it's not connected.
Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi
- On the printer control panel:
- Go to Settings > Network Setup > Wireless Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard.
- Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
Assign a Static IP Address
Sometimes dynamic IP changes cause disconnections. To assign a static IP:
- Print a Network Configuration Page from the printer.
- Note the current IP address.
- Open a browser and enter the IP to access the Embedded Web Server (EWS).
- Go to Network > Wireless (802.11) > IPv4 Configuration.
- Select Manual IP, enter the current IP, subnet mask, and default gateway.
- Click Apply.
Update Printer Firmware
Outdated firmware can cause connectivity issues.
- Visit the HP Software and Driver Downloads page and search for your printer model.
- Download and install the latest firmware.
Use HP Smart App’s Diagnose & Fix Tool
- Download or open the HP Smart
- Go to Printer Settings > Diagnose & Fix.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to automatically detect and fix issues.
Check Router Settings
- Ensure MAC address filtering is off or the printer’s MAC is allowed.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
