My 9120e printer that I just received was setup wirelessly. When I went to my dashboard, it says my printer is offline. I did everything that HP suggested to get it back saying it is online, does not work. What can be done to resolve this? And why does it take so long to print anything (sending to printer)?

Hi @mrslynn73,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
We understand you're experiencing two key issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9129e printer: Printer status showing as "Offline" despite wireless setup. Slow printing or long delays between sending a job and the printer responding. Let us guide you through the correct steps to resolve both.
Step 1: Ensure a Stable Network Connection
Your printer must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Windows 11 PC. Here's how to confirm:
On the Printer:
- Tap the Wireless icon on the printer touchscreen.
- Check the network name (SSID) and confirm it's connected with a strong signal (at least 3 bars).
- If not connected, go to Settings > Wireless Setup Wizard and reconnect to your Wi-Fi.
On Your Computer:
- Open Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi on Windows 11.
- Confirm your PC is on the same Wi-Fi network as shown on the printer.
Step 2: Restart Devices (Power Cycle)
Do a complete restart:
- Turn off the printer.
- Unplug your router and modem for 30 seconds, then plug them back in.
- Once your network is back up, turn on the printer and your computer.
This resolves most offline or communication issues.
Step 3: Remove and Re-add Printer on Windows
To refresh the connection:
- On your PC, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
- Click on your 9129e printer, then select Remove.
- Restart your PC.
- Go to Printers & scanners again > Click Add device and let Windows detect and re-add the printer.
Step 4: Set Printer as Default & Disable Offline Mode
- Search for Control Panel > Go to Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your 9129e > Select Set as Default Printer.
- Right-click again > Make sure Use Printer Offline is not checked.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
