HP Color LaserJet CP2025 Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I want to run my CP2025 printer using either network (Ethernet) or if possible WIFI. I have an RJ45 Ethernet Cable connected to my tp-link ArcherC2 router which acts as an extender to the main router and the other end is connected to the printer. I checked the User manual but could not find the option to use my printer using ethernet. I also own the simple version which is CP 2025 Laserjet printer, so it does not have the network config/report option on the control panel.

I just want to run this printer on any sort of internet based connection without spending money on an external connector.

Can anyone help?I'll give you a cookie in return, thanks.

You need to buy a USB to network adapter, without that you will not be able to connect it to any kind of network

But my laptlp already has an ethernet port built-in as well as multiple usb ports, can you help me understand why i need the mentioned connector?

If your printer has a network port on it then it should work, page 38 of the user manual explains network connections.
