I replaced my old router which supported separate 2.4GHZ and 5.0GHZ SSIDs.  The printer was always connected to the 2.4GHZ wifi network and has worked for years with no issue.  Unfortunately the new router/firewall allows 2.4GHZ and 5.0GHZ networks but I can only use one at a time.  The printer will connect to the 2.4GHZ SSID when I have it enabled and use the HP wizard to connect.  When I enable the 5.0GHZ SSID the printer does not even see the SSID as a network to connect to.  My SSIDs are both broadcasting.  I was thinking the problem was that it's an older printer and it does not support 5G but I see a bunch of posts saying that it does, but just as many post having the same issue I am having.  Any ideas?

HP Recommended

That printer model supports only a 2,4GHz wireless band. If the router is close connect it with a LAN cable and it will work.
