Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I plugged this printer directly into my router after wanting to kill myself attempting to get Wi-Fi direct to work.  I run HP easy start and the thing can't even find it when both my computer and my printer are directly plugged in to the router!

 

What does a guy have to do to print from a printer without plugging into it directly?  I will be taking a baseball bat to this printer and buying from a different brand if I cannot figure this out today.
