Hi , I was recently given this printer by a family member. I would like to be able to set it up as I have a requirement for printing at the moment. I received printer and power plug only, no other cables. I will need to connect it it using a wifi connection. The printer has never been connected to my network before. I have navigated windows add device set up. I always get stuck on the WPS pin. The steps tell me that I can print a page with the pin from the printer, but unfortunately the ink is displaying as empty. No pin displays on the tiny screen as suggested by some of the support websites. I also did not receive any documents which have the pin. When I try and do the workaround steps to use the HP app, It can't find my printer. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

WPS is either a physical button on the router, a button in a dialog box in the router setup
-OR-
The "PIN" which printed on the back of the modem unless it was changed by accessing the modem setup and creating a special Wi-FI "PIN"
I assume you have a PC or phone that connects to your Wi-FI router. The code "PIN" you used to connect is the same one the printer needs unless you use the push button method. The "red" button on the router is the reset button, not the WPS button. Do not use that one.
