I just purchased a deskjet 2752 printer and is asking me for a HP network password for Wi-Fi which I don’t know where to get

Due to the current global COVID-19 situation, we're seeing an influx of customers coming in for support. We appreciate your patience.

You are connecting the printer via Wifi direct, the default password is 12345678.

Wi-Fi direct is a method that connects your printer directly to your phone or computer using default or an assigned password, the drawback of this type of connection is that you will not be able to access the internet and print at the same time.

Hello Ramiro,

Not sure if you have managed to setup the wireless network.

1. For this particular screen that you attached, please print out Info page by pressing i button at Control Panel once. (Note: Wake the printer by pressing X button on Control Panel once if Printer is in sleep mode before attempt to print Info page).

2. You can find the password under Wi-Fi Direct section where it tells you 'The Wi-Fi direct name is "DIRECT-xxxxxxxxxx". The Wi-Fi Direct password is "xxxxxxx". Remember to type exactly, if there is dash, type the dash too.

If you're yet to setup the wireless network of your printer, you can follow this video guide. Remember to reset network since it has past 2 hours.
