HP DeskJet 3632
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I forgot the EWS password for my HP DeskJet 3632 printer.
Looking through other forum posts, the ability to reset this password is a matter of national security and you only provide the answer in direct messages.
I can't procreed with wireless setup without resetting this password.

Please help me out.

Is the Printer firmware updated? If not, you can do it from here: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/ish_1776648-1643972-16

Once done, try the same resets steps given to you.

Not possible to update the firmware. The printer does not show up in the tool.
But I can see the printer in Windows, see attached.Printer.JPG

You can try updating the Printer using the Printer's screen then.

Come on. 4 workingdays for this answer?
The printer does not have a screen display with options. Only a small display showing whats turned on and off.

And the guide to update the firmware directly on the printer, leads back to my original problem.
I can't connect the printer to the internet, because there's a random password on the web interface, which blocks my attempt to connect the printer to internet.....

"Update the firmware directly from the printer

Many HP printers support updating the firmware directly from the printer control panel when connected to the internet.

NOTE:
  1. Make sure the printer is connected to the internet using a wireless or Ethernet connection. USB connections do not work."

I recommend you to contact the HP Support Team regarding this as this could be a hardware issue.

That link leads me back to this forum, or to contact HP by phone, but first I must buy a subscription to be able to call HP.
