Hi, can anyone help, my Deskjet 2620 keeps disconnecting from my computer, this happens in particular if I switch the printer off, I try to leave it on but we went away for a few days and now it just won't connect. I have a solid blue light, have tried adding it as a new printer but it says it's already there, I have tried lots of fixes but can't seem to get it to work and this keeps happening and I am at a loss. Can anyone help? If I try to search for the printer on Wi-Fi it says it can't find it, I tried connecting with the IP address but this also didn't work. I have run diagnostic on the HP Smart app but it doesn't do anything.

Hi @AJ229,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
We have to perform a Semi Full Reset and see if that works.
The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted. -
Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution. Click the “Kudos/Thumbs Up" on the bottom right to say “Thanks” for helping!
