Hi all, I recently changed broadband providers and am now using 5g fibre broadband. I cannot get my phone or laptop to communicate with the printer using the new wifi. The printer is turned on and in set up mode but neither my computer or phone can find it. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the HP Smart app on my phone and setting it up as a new device and have used the HP Print and Scan Doctor with my laptop but am unable to connect. Needless to say it was working perfectly before I changed providers and though I am not great with tech, I have managed to set up all my other devices on the new wifi service without any problems. Hope someone can help.

@Catzie, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you are not able to connect the printer to the new wireless network.
- Make sure the printer and the Mac are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.
- This printer supports 2.4GHz network only.
- This printer supports WPA encryption, check if the router is on the same encryption method. If using WEP or WPA-PSK+FT change it to WPA-PSK
Use the WPS method to connect the printer - Connecting an HP Printer Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
