Having trouble with my new mac not connecting to printer wirelessly. Big Sur OS on Macbook Air. Worked for a bit after I followed Apples instructions, then just stopped working. Says "The printer may not exist or not available." Tried removing printer, adding several times. Also reset printing system.
Also, cannot use scanning function.
Any help would be appreciated. Please note I am NOT technical. Thanks! Judy

Hi @JudyfromLyon,
I'd like to help!
HP Deskjet 3055A e-All-in-One Printer driver for macOS 11 is not available from the HP website or Apple Software Update. However, Gutenprint (formerly called Gimp-Print) provides open-source basic print drivers for many printers that would otherwise not be supported in Mac OS X. To see if your printer is supported, go to Gutenprint drivers for more information.
NOTE: Gutenprint drivers are not supported by HP or Apple.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Thanks Jay. Unfortunately, my model is not listed on their site. I am able to use my printer and scanner using a USB cable. Just tedious with extra steps...
Since my original post I was directed to a new HP Printer Driver posted by Apple supposedly to work with MAC OS 11. Here it is:
https://support.apple.com/en_GB/downloads/macos
Dec 11, 2020 HP Printer drivers v5.1 for mac os
I've installed it, but my mac still does not recognize my printer. I even consulted with Apple support. They couldn't help really. Said HP needs to provide update?! So we go round and round...

The printer is not compatible with the mac osX11.
We do not have compatible drivers, I’d recommend you contact HP Phone Support in your region regarding upgrade options.
Follow the instructions below to reach them:
1) Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp
2) Select your product type below.
3) Enter the serial of your device.
4) Select the country from the drop-down.
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences.
6)Fill the web-form and proceed further.
If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
Have a great day!
