I set up an HP Deskjet 4155e for my parents, connected it to their router, followed the instructions to connect it to their chromebooks, and then saw that they could print with it.
For just over a week it worked fine, my dad had been regularly printing notes for himself from it.
Then one day he told me it wasn't letting him print, when I came by to take a look his chromebook told me it couldn't connect to the printer.
I started testing with other wireless devices, checked the wifi connection through the router and through the HP Smart app, both telling me everything is strong, yet only wired devices seem to be able to print from the printer, while wireless ones either can't find it, or when they do find it the print job never actually is sent to the printer.
I tried resetting the printer's wireless connection, restarted the router, made sure the chromebooks were updated, but nothing seems to work.
Given the router is still functioning and showing no errors for any other device or connection within their house, I'm almost certain it's not that.
Is there some setting or function that may have accidentally flipped on for the printer that I need to find?
