My HP ENVY 6055e has terminated its printing function due to the HP Instant Ink deal. Now the device is no longer printing and will not revive the WIFI connection. All the suggestions that I have found have not cured the problem. I am getting ready to select an appropriate size hammer to apply to the useless piece of "crap". I am sure I am not the only person who has this issue. I have a USB cable connected to the device because the WIFI alternative is slow and unreliable. Happy New Year anyway.

Hi @CCN1943,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're experiencing with your HP ENVY 6055e printer. Before resorting to extreme measures, let's try some troubleshooting steps to see if we can resolve the problem. Please follow these steps.
Restart your Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for a few minutes and then plug it back in and turn it on.
Check Wi-Fi Connection:
- Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is working properly.
- On the printer, go to the settings and check the Wi-Fi connection. Reconnect if necessary.
Reboot Your Router:
- Sometimes, issues can be resolved by simply restarting your router. Turn it off, wait for a minute, and then turn it back on.
Update Firmware:
- Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer on the HP support website. If there are, update the firmware.
Reset Printer Network Settings:
- On the printer control panel, navigate to Settings > Wireless > Restore Network Defaults. Confirm the action and restart the printer.
Reinstall Printer Software:
- Uninstall the printer software on your computer and reinstall it using the latest drivers from the HP website.
Check Instant Ink Status:
- Log in to your HP Instant Ink account and make sure your subscription is active and there are no issues.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
