My wireless all in one HP ENVY PRO 6420 continues to go offline throughout the day and i cant turn it off via the power button on the back so I have to keep unplugging it to get it to print documents ..... it was set to default printer but was still offline is there an easy solution to fix this or just buy a new printer?? The reviews for this printer i have found on sites have been reported to do the same thing going offline and cant print unless you pull the plug and plug it back in  surely there is a better solution

Welcome to the HP User Community.

 

What you do depends on why the printer is losing connection to your network.

 

Troubleshooting document:

 HP printer does not maintain Wi-Fi connection

 

Another place to look / check is your network setup.

For example

 

IF you are running a Dual Band Network, there are some things you can check.

For example, the printer wants to be connected to the SSID named network on the frequency you intend that it use.

The printer does not like hopping - If your router includes this feature, try switching it OFF.
