Hi @ksdeem,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP ENVY 6458e All-In-One Printer is not connecting to Wi-Fi after renewing your ink subscription, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Restart Devices

  • Restart the Printer: Turn off your printer, wait for about 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  • Restart the Router: Unplug your router from the power source, wait for about 10 seconds, then plug it back in and allow it to restart.
  • Restart the Computer or Device: Restart the device you are using to set up the printer.

Check Network Connection

  • Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is working and that other devices can connect to it.
  • Make sure your printer is within range of your Wi-Fi network.

Reconnect Printer to Wi-Fi

  • On the Printer:
    1. Open Settings: Go to the printer's control panel.
    2. Select Network Settings: Look for the Wi-Fi or network settings option.
    3. Wi-Fi Setup Wizard: Choose the Wi-Fi setup wizard and follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect your printer to the Wi-Fi network. You will need your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password.

Use the HP Smart App

  • Download the HP Smart App: Install the HP Smart app on your smartphone or computer.
  • Add Your Printer:
    1. Open the HP Smart app and sign in or create an account.
    2. Click on the “+” sign to add a new printer.
    3. Follow the on-screen instructions to detect and connect your printer to the Wi-Fi network.

Update Printer Firmware

  • Check for Updates: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. You can do this through the printer's settings or the HP Smart app.

Reset Network Settings on Printer

  • Factory Reset: If the above steps do not work, you might need to reset the printer's network settings:
    1. Go to the printer's control panel.
    2. Access the network or wireless settings.
    3. Look for a “Restore Network Settings” or similar option and confirm the reset.
    4. After the reset, try reconnecting the printer to your Wi-Fi network using the Wi-Fi setup wizard.

Check HP Instant Ink Account

  • Verify Subscription Status: Log in to your HP Instant Ink account to ensure that your subscription is active and there are no issues with your account.

By following these steps, you should be able to reconnect your HP ENVY 6458e printer to your Wi-Fi network and resume printing.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
