Hi @Neesee01,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP ENVY 4500 printer is not connecting to your new 5GHz Wi-Fi network and you've already added the 2.4GHz network, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue and print from your iPhone.

Check Network Compatibility: Ensure that your HP ENVY 4500 printer supports 5GHz Wi-Fi. Most older printer models are compatible only with 2.4GHz networks. If your printer doesn't support 5GHz, you won't be able to connect it to your 5GHz network.

Connect to the Correct Wi-Fi Network:

  • On your iPhone, go to "Settings."
  • Tap on "Wi-Fi."
  • Make sure you're connected to the 2.4GHz network and not the 5GHz network.

Restart the Printer:

  • Turn off the HP ENVY 4500 printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds and plug it back in.
  • Turn the printer back on and let it fully restart.

Reconfigure the Printer:

  • Go to your printer's control panel or display.
  • Access the wireless or network settings.
  • Remove the existing Wi-Fi network settings and set up the connection to your 2.4GHz network again.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your Wi-Fi network's SSID (name) and password.

Check iPhone Printer Settings:

  • On your iPhone, go to "Settings."
  • Scroll down and tap on "Printers & Scanners."
  • Make sure your HP ENVY 4500 printer is listed and selected as the default printer.

Update Printer Firmware: Sometimes, updating the printer's firmware can resolve connectivity issues. Check HP's official website for firmware updates specific to your HP ENVY 4500 printer model.

Printer App: Download and install the HP Smart app on your iPhone. This app can help you manage and troubleshoot your printer's connectivity.

Reset Network Settings on iPhone:

  • If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting your iPhone's network settings.
  • Go to "Settings."
  • Scroll down and tap on "General."
  • Scroll down and tap on "Reset."
  • Tap on "Reset Network Settings." This will reset all network-related settings on your iPhone, including Wi-Fi passwords.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
