My HP Envy 4520 will not locate my wireless network. I have tried hard wiring it to the router via ethernet cable as well as all other methods on this site. It comes up with a list of available networks, but my network does not appear. Please help.

@Melaina12, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your HP Envy 4520!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
f your HP Envy 4520 printer is unable to find your wireless network, follow these steps to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
Verify Network Settings
Ensure SSID Broadcast:
- Make sure your wireless network is set to broadcast its SSID. If the network name is not being broadcast, the printer won't be able to find it.
Move Closer to the Router:
- To improve the connection, place the printer closer to your wireless router or access point.
Check Wireless Network Name:
- Verify the network name (SSID) you are looking for. It should match exactly (case-sensitive).
Configure Printer Wireless Settings Manually
Run Wireless Setup Wizard:
- From the HP Envy 4520 printer’s menu, go to Setup > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard. This wizard will search for available networks and display them. If your network does not appear, try entering the SSID manually.
Enter Network Name Manually:
- If your network is not listed, touch Enter a New Network Name (SSID) and type the SSID using the visual keyboard. Make sure to enter it exactly as it is, including any uppercase and lowercase letters.
Checking and Updating Router Settings
Verify Router Settings:
- Ensure that your wireless router is turned on and configured correctly.
- Check for any MAC address filtering that might prevent the printer from connecting.
Reset Networking Settings
- Restore Wireless Network Settings:
- You can restore your HP Envy printer’s network settings to default values. Go to Setup > Network > Restore Network Settings. After resetting, run the Wireless Setup Wizard again.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
