I have been using this printer for a number of years with no problems. I have not changed wifi provider. Returned from holiday to find the printer would not print, advised 'offline'.
Apparently, according to the wireless network test result, the printer is configured with an auto ip address which prevents the printer from communicating over the network. I have followed the instructions in the report, several times now, without success. They advise:
1. Remove printer cable for 30 seconds, then replace.
2. On printer, turn off power, then turn back on
3. When printer has finished initializing, wait at least 60 seconds, then print the wireless network report again
4. Check 'Configuration Source', and in 'Current Configuration' it should show DHCP IP address from my router.
I did this yesterday and it worked; I was able to print. Today, it has reverted to the auto ip address, and will not correct itself. I have tried this procedure 3 times with no success.
Can anyone help please?
