I currently have an HP Envy 5540 and it seems to constantly go "offline".  I am able to reconnect it after a while but then it goes back offline.  My usual trick is to unplug the power and then plug it back in which then makes it visible on the devices I'd like to print from (iPhones and laptops).  But then after a little bit, I can no longer see the printer when trying to print another item.  I've tried resetting it back to factory settings but it still does this.  Has anyone else had issues like this?

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are getting printer offline error, I am glad to assist you to fix the issue.

Which operating system is installed on the computer to which this printer is connected?

What is the distance between the router and the printer?

Meanwhile:-

The printer only supports connections using 2.4GHz, check if you have set the router bandwidth to 2.4GHz.

Reply with the requested information for more assistance.

Cheers.
