My HP Envy 6032e Cant connect to wifi and the solutions with WPS I have read do not work.

 

My printer has no connection to anything and refuses to work, besides constantly blinking wifi purple and switching E to 0 on the display.

 

I have this device several years now and it is a horrible device often does not work as can be expected for a printer, restarting several times, complete disconnecting from power, error in printer queues etc ..... it should just print!

 

So the monster is not connecting, and I would like to start from scratch.

  • Do you have instructions how can I do a Factory reset on the device it self, which buttons to push?
  • Do you have instructions to (re) install the device and start printing again.

To perform a factory reset on your HP Envy 6032e printer and reinstall it for printing, follow these steps.

 

Factory Reset Instructions:

Power on the Printer: Make sure your printer is powered on.

Access the Control Panel: Locate the control panel on your printer.

Reset Procedure:

  • On the printer's control panel, touch or press the Wireless and Cancel buttons simultaneously and hold them for about 5 seconds.
  • The printer should begin the reset process. Follow any on-screen prompts if they appear.

Wait for Reset: Allow the printer to complete the reset process. It may restart during this time.

Confirmation: After the reset is complete, the printer settings should return to their factory defaults.

Reinstalling the Printer:

After performing the factory reset, you'll need to reinstall the printer on your network and computer:

Prepare for Setup:

  • Ensure your printer is on and ready.
  • Make sure your computer or mobile device is connected to the same wireless network that your printer will use.

Install Printer Software:

  • On your computer, go to the HP support website or use the HP Smart app (available for Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS).
  • Follow the instructions to download and install the latest printer software for your HP Envy 6032e.

Setup through HP Smart (Recommended):

  • Open the HP Smart app on your device.
  • Add your printer:
    • Tap the Plus sign to add a new printer.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your printer to Wi-Fi through the app.

Manual Setup (Alternative Method):

  • On your computer, open the installed printer software.
  • Select the option to add a new printer.
