@BenRamsay2014,

Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

1. Power Off the Printer

2. Unplug the Printer

  • Once powered off, unplug the printer from the power outlet.
  • Wait about 30 seconds to 1 minute.

3. Perform a Hard Reset

  • Press and hold the power button on the printer for about 15-20 seconds while the printer is unplugged.
  • This can sometimes help reset the printer's internal settings.

4. Plug the Printer Back In

  • Reconnect the power cord to the printer and plug it back into the outlet.
  • Press the power button again to turn the printer back on.

5. Reset Network Settings

  • The HP Envy 6100e might require a manual network reset to clear the QR code screen. Unfortunately, if there is no dedicated Wi-Fi reset button, it’s not always straightforward. However, after restarting the printer, you should be able to enter a setup mode:

6. Complete Setup Again

  • Download the HP Smart app on your phone or computer.
  • Open the app and go through the setup process again. It should now detect the printer.
  • Follow the on-screen prompts to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi.
