Product: HP ENVY Pro 6455 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: iOS

Trying to connect printer to new wifi connection after moving.  printer was connected to previous wifi at previous location.

Iphone with HP Smart app sees printer's wifi network (not as HP Setup but as HP Envy 6400 Direct but cannot connect even wtih direct password from printed instructions based on holding down i button on printer for 3 seconds. ). 

 

Still trying to work through this.  Any thoughts? 

 

Forget Wifi network doesn't seem to be an immediate option, but I'll look into that further.

Hi @herbacidal 

 

First of all, if you have Wi-fi direct enabled and the printer is not connected to the network, then you should try the following password: 12345678

 

Second, to turn off the wi-fi direct see the manual on page 31, and then if you want to connect the printer via router you must press for 5 seconds the rear wi-fi button on the printer, then open HP Smart and connect the printer.
