Hi @TWilkes,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer's connectivity!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
For Printers with Buttons Only:
- Place the printer near the Wi-Fi router to ensure better signal strength.
- Restore Wi-Fi setup mode on your printer:
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi and Power buttons on the back of the printer for about 3 seconds until the light starts flashing.
- Use Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS):
- Within 2 minutes, press and hold the WPS button on your router until the connection process begins.
- Wait for the wireless light on the printer to stop flashing, indicating the printer is connected to the network.
Alternatively, If Your Printer Has a Touchscreen:
- Access the Wireless Setup Wizard via the touchscreen:
- Place the printer near your network router.
- Ensure paper is loaded into the input tray and turn the printer on.
- From the Wireless or Setup menu, select Network setup or Settings, and then choose Restore Network Settings.
- Go to Wireless Setup Wizard and select your network from the list, then enter your network password.
I hope this helps.
