I am about to throw this thing in the trash. It keeps dropping the wifi signal randomly - will print a page and then five minutes later refuse to print anything until I unplug it and plug it back in, because the power button DOES NOT WORK. And there's no customer service number to speak with a REAL person for help. The Virtual Chat is useless.

Has anyone else had these problems, and if so, how did you resolve them? I wanted to love this printer, but right now I have it plugged into my computer (so much for "wireless printing").

@LJinkins

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I understand your printer does not  maintain wireless connection, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Did you make any changes on the settings of your Printer prior to the issue?
  • What is the distance between the router and the printer?
  • Have you tried updating the printer drivers from HP's website?

While you respond to that,  let's restore the network settings on the Printer:

  • On the back of the printer, press and hold the Wireless button for at least three seconds.
  • Once done, please connect the Printer to the Wi-Fi.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
