I'm using the HP Smart app on all 3 computers and use the diagnostic button to try and get it connected, but two of the printers usually say "offline" and the third says it is connected but won't print. HP Envy 6455e. I don't know why my printer isn't showing in the "my products" drop down above. Is this a wifi router problem, a printer problem, or something about how I use the HP Smart App? Abby

Hi @AbbyWwg,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I'd like to help!
I understand the printer does not maintain connectivity.
- How far is the printer located from the WiFi router?
- Restart the router, the printer, and the PC
- Make sure the printer and the PC are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
- If you have a dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.
To connect the printer to a network, use the WPS method.
Refer to - Connecting an HP Printer Using Wi-Fi Protected Setup (WPS)
Reinstall the HP Smart app with the updated version.
Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.

Yes, that can help. I also found that if I was actually signed into the HP Smart app on all 3 computers it made a difference. I was just opening the app and using it not realizing it wasn’t actually signed in. I saw my printer there and it said “connected” so I thought it would print. But it wouldn’t print until I actually signed in. So I was confused by that.
