My cable company sent me a new modem (they said my existing modem was outdated). I replace the modem and everything worked except for my HP 6255 printer. It will not boot up. It turns on fine and loads up the horizontal bar on the display but stops loading once the bar is loaded. The 7 buttons show on the display but the boot does not proceed. I've exhausted all of the troubleshooting techniques without success. Is there a code to get it booted?
I can't believe my printer bricked just due to changing the modem.
Thank you.

Welcome to the HP support community.
I see that your printer is stuck in HP logo, follow these steps to fix the issue.
Perform a power reset
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
- Turn on the printer.
Update the printer firmware
