My HP Envy 6065e printer suddenly stopped being connected to my internet wifi. I updated the drivers and tried all of the suggested fixes from HP Support (including turning the router off and on) but the wireless connection still doesn't work. How do I get the printer to recognize my wifi?

Hi @bubby5,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds frustrating when your printer loses its connection. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you reconnect your HP Envy 6065e printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Reset Network Settings on the Printer:
- On the printer’s control panel, go to Setup (gear icon) > Network or Wireless Settings.
- Select Restore Network Settings or Reset Network Settings, and confirm. This will clear any previous network settings.
Reconnect to Wi-Fi:
- After resetting, go back to Setup > Network or Wireless Settings.
- Choose Wireless Setup Wizard and follow the on-screen instructions to select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password.
Check Printer and Router Proximity:
- Ensure that your printer is within range of your Wi-Fi router. If it's too far, try moving it closer.
Update Printer Firmware:
- Ensure that your printer’s firmware is up to date. Go to the HP website, search for your printer model, and download the latest firmware if available.
Reinstall the Printer Software:
- On your computer, go to the HP Support website and download the latest version of the printer software.
- Install the software and select the option to set up the printer via wireless connection. This process will help the computer and printer re-establish communication.
Check Router Settings:
- Ensure that the router is not blocking the printer. Check your router settings to make sure there are no restrictions or blocks on new devices.
Restart Devices:
- Restart your printer, router, and computer. Sometimes a fresh start can resolve connectivity issues.
Check Network Name and Password:
- Make sure that the network name (SSID) and password you’re entering on the printer match exactly with your Wi-Fi network.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

Thanks for all your suggestions. I had previously tried them all and they did not work. I have no idea why my internet connection for the printer suddenly disappeared and then I had such a hard time getting the printer to work. So I uninstalled the HP printer and reinstalled it from scratch. That finally worked!
