I have had the printer for a couple of years now with little trouble to date. However, we changed broadband provider from BT Broadband to Vodafone Broadband via CityFibre a few weeks ago. Since then I have spent hours of time trying to connect the printer to the wifi so that I can print remotely from my MacBook Air laptop. I have managed this a couple of times, through there has been lots of troubleshooting and managed to print a couple of pages here and there, but the printer does not seem to retain its connectivity to the wifi and I have to keep starting the set-up process over, it seems sheer luck when I have achieved the connection to print. I have tried doing this via Ethernet, WPS and the IP address, the only one that has worked briefly is the WPS and if I'm honest I am not even sure how I achieved the connection as trying the same methodology has not given me the same results.

So far I have tried resetting the printer, disconnecting the printer, pressing wifi button after WPS for three seconds to make connection, pressed wifi button for 20+ seconds until on/off and ! are both flashing and nothing is consistent or working efficiently, adding the printer to the HP app on my laptop by wifi, ethernet and IP (none of these options have worked at all) and  I am sure there are more things I've tried, but I cannot recall them.

Some advice would be appreciated. With thanks!

You probably just need to reset the printer

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I have tried all of these and none of them work.
