I have multiple HP LaserJet 4350n printers with fairly low miles (most less than 50k-100k). In my home office, I have one that lost the Embedded JetDirect in the menu a couple weeks ago. A reset did not fix it. Since I have multiple units, I swapped out the network card a week ago or so and it worked fine. It has since disappeared too, so I just added a 3rd one right now. A power up showed it was there, I was able to set the IP address as needed, print a test page, turned it off, set it properly on the tray 3 and installed the duplexer, turned it back on, and now the network card is no where to be found again. What could be happening to this? The switch and network cable it is connected to has not changed and there are 2 computers and another HP Color LaserJet connected to the same switch that are working fine – so I doubt its the switch that's causing the issue. It's not in the menu anymore and you can't ping it or connect to it via the browser. Ideas?
