HP LaserJet Pro CM1415fnw Color Multifunction Printer
macOS 12.0 Monterey

HP LaserJet CM1415fnw connected to WiFi but refuses to print overnight.

The printer shows the WiFi signal at full strength.

After switching it off and on it prints as it should do.

But the next day, the printer is not communicating.

I have to switch it off and on to get it printing again.

Please note that the WiFi connection is correct all the time.

Please advise.

Hi,

Please open the Setup Menu and select Network Settings, within the Wireless Menu click on Run Network Test.

Please review the printed report, may you see  any attention or a warning within the middle Troubleshooting section of the report?

The report indicates:
more than one access point / wireless router has been found with the same SSID.

So I looked into the MESH page of my router. The printer has one clear position in this map.

However:
The printer is located at the same distance to two sources: The router itself and also a repeater.

The router is a Fritzbox 7590 and the repeater a Fritz!repeater, seamlessly integrated into the WiFi network.

The only way out, as I can see, is to skip the WiFi and have it connected by a wired Powerline connection.

Any further suggestions?

You may either connect the printer with Ethernet or change the repeater to have a unique SSID, portable devices will switch sources to the stronger signal so such a change will not affect any operation, I suggest consulting below support document from Fritz (be sure to select the correct repeater device:

Hope that helps,
