Dear All,

We just brought a HP LaserJet M507 enterprise model printer. We would like to set up IP V4 IP Address for the printer. In order to do that when I am trying to sign in as an administrator access. It was asking for admin PIN. That I did not received from HP. Also no PIN was found in the user manual that came within the box. May I know the default code Or may i know how to get that code ? Thank you.

Serial Number of the Unit is  [personal info removed]

Hello,

Hope you are well, its strange its asking for a passcode if its just being setup, please note the printer has a Sign in button on the main menu, on top next to reset, but you dont need to sign in to use it. That sign in is in case you create a pin number or when the printer is being serviced by HP.

Try to navigate in the printer screen , for example go to the reports option and try to access it, if you can access then select a config page and print it, if there was no message for pin or password, the printer is unlocked for setup.

if the printer asks for pin or password only by selecting an option of the menu, try go to setup > general > reset factory settings.

Thanks,

I am an HP employee
