Hi, my printer is giving me an error stating "check the status of your account, your printer may no longer work if left unresolved." This occurred after we changed wifi networks in our household. After speaking to a support agent over the phone for 45minutes they identified that my web services being disabled was the problem. I ask myself why did the printer disable itself just because I switched wifi? Why wouldn't it just auto-re-enable once I connect to my new network? It would save the below headache that would ensue.
When I navigate to webservices via the hp app for windows and re-enable, it stays stuck on the screen and never enables itself. The chat agent abandoned the fight and just told me to call [content removed]. I called, waited for 40mins, NO answer. I am now trying to figure out how to report this printer as defective via HP's warranty program and cannot figure out how to do it. I have spent a total of 3 hours on this now... Is this truly the experience HP expects its customers to go through? The printer is not even a year old and I am beyond frustrated and have no idea what to do with this brick of a useless machine now. What am I missing?

Hi @Stuff122,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I see that you are facing issues with your HP printer using instant ink cartridges.
Please follow the steps listed below to remove and set up web services:
1. Open the embedded web server (EWS):
a. Find out the IP address or hostname of the printer by pressing the Information button (i) to print an Information page.
NOTE: The printer must be on a network and must have an IP address.
b. In a supported web browser on your computer, type the IP address or hostname assigned to the printer. For example, if the IP address is 123.123.123.123, type the following address into the web browser: http://123.123.123.123.
2. Click the Web Services tab, and then click Remove Web Services in the Web Services Settings section.
3. Click Remove Web Services.
4. Click Yes to remove Web Services from your printer.

5. Click the Web Services tab again.
6. In the Web Services Settings section, click Setup, click Continue and follow the onscreen instructions to accept the terms of use.
7. If prompted, choose to allow the printer to check for and install printer updates.
8. When the printer is connected to the server, the printer prints an information page. Follow the instructions on the information page to finish the setup.
