After I updated the internet modem/router to C4000LG (supporting both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), the printer doesn't connect to either through WIFI or USB cable. The computer failed to communicate with the printer.
What I tried:
HP Print and Scan Doctor and all suggested methods
Factory reset the printer
Uninstalled and reinstalled the driver
Used several USB (a male to b male USB2.0) cables
Plugged in every single USB port on the computer
None of the above worked. I need help!!
Thank you,

@RMO11 Welcome to HP Community!
I understand you are having issues connecting your HP LaserJet printer to Wireless. Don't worry as I have a few suggestions which should help you resolve this issue.
To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:
Have you recently made any changes on the printer before the issue started?
Did you try to restore the network to factory defaults?
Have you checked if your router support 2.4GHz or 5GHz network? As all our HP Printer supports only 2.4GHz
Please ensure you change the frequency to either 1, 6, 11
In the meantime, let's try these steps here:
Hard reset on the printer, router, computer and other devices on the same network.
The following steps temporarily disconnect network and Internet connections and require restarting your computer. Complete any tasks or downloads in progress before continuing.
1. Press the Power button on the printer to turn it off.
2. Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
3. Disconnect the power cord from the wireless router.
4. Turn off the computer.
5. Wait for 30 seconds.
6. Reconnect the power cord to the wireless router.
7. Wait for 30 seconds, or until the router is fully on and ready
8. Turn the computer back on.
9. Wait for the computer to reload
10. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
11. Turn the printer back on.
Next thing, I would suggest here is to Restore default wireless settings:
1. Turn the product off.
2. Press and hold the wireless button and the cancel button, and then turn the product on.
3. Hold the buttons until all the lights blink in unison, and then release the buttons.
Make sure the printer, router, and computer are all turned on, and that the computer is connected to the same wireless network you want to connect the printer:
First, unplug the USB cable from the printer if present.
Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP Envy printer entries and uninstall them.
Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
Press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" (There is a space between .exe & /) and press enter.
Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
Again, go to the Run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.
Restart your computer.

Select “Wireless” in the connection type window and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Restart the computer and then try to print and check if that works.
