Help!
About half a year ago we switched from Comcast Internet to Verizon Wifi. I tried switching my printer off the Comcast to the new internet and it refused to connect. For a few weeks we had both internet providers operating so I would literally turn off the Verizon and turn on the Comcast to print. Once Comcast was officially turned off, my printer will not connect. I have tried everything!
Here's what I've tried:
The HP app doesn't find the printer. I've tried searching so many times. My wifi is running at full speed and I am literally sitting next to it.
When I try to add manually it doesn't work. It says "connect to HP Setup Internet and return"... I can't find that in my wifi list.
I have connected the printer to my Mac via USB and my Mac is directly connected to the Verizon router... still nothing.
What am I missing? The App isn't finding the printer by any means and the printer is offline.
Please note that my model doesn't have a screen to go to network settings. It's a rudimentary laser jet model.
I have tried turnings things off and on and restarting to no avail. Before I chuck this thing out the window, I want to give this a try. If this doesn't work, I promise I will go tp Epson. (sorry not sorry)

Hi @poshmarkprint,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
My sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused to you.
We'd hate for you to be stuck in a situation like this. Because you matter to us.
Superb description and stupendous diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. 😊
Let us try to restore the printer to the default network settings, and then use HP Smart to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Step 1:
Restore network default settings on the printer, to do that - Press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons until the Power button flashes, and then wait for the Wireless light to flash.
Step 2:
Uninstall and re-install the HP Smart app on your computer/mobile device.
Place the printer and the computer or mobile device near the Wi-Fi router.
Turn on Wi-Fi on your computer or mobile device and connect to your network. If the computer is connected to the network with an Ethernet cable, temporarily disconnect the cable and use the Wi-Fi connection during the setup.
Enable Bluetooth on the computer or mobile device so that HP Smart can detect the printer during the setup.
After installing HP Smart for iOS and Android, enable the mobile device location service and allow the app to use your location to detect the printer and offer solutions during setup.
Download the HP Smart app from 123.hp.com (Android, Apple iOS, iPadOS).
In HP Smart, click Add Printer or the plus sign to search for the printer, and then follow the instructions to complete the setup.
If this solution hit the spot, please come back and click "Accepted Solution" to help others find the answer. And if you'd like to say thanks, select "Yes" on the bottom left of the public post, as that would make our day!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
Regards,
