Hi @DavidBLair,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Ensure Wireless Light is Turned On

  • If the blue light near the control panel is not lit, wireless may not be turned on.
  • Turn on wireless by pressing the wireless button near the wireless light or by pressing the Setup button on the control panel, selecting Network, and then Wireless Radio, followed by On.

Check Wireless Signal Strength

  • Print a Wireless Network Test from the control panel to check the signal strength. If the signal is weak, try moving the printer closer to the wireless router.

Restart Components of the Wireless Network

  • Turn off the router and the HP device, and then turn them back on in the following order: router first, followed by the HP device.
  • If the problem persists, turn off the router, HP device, and computer, then turn them back on in the order: router first, then the HP device, and finally the computer.

Run the Wireless Network Test

  • On the device's control panel display, touch Setup, then Network, and Wireless Network Test. Follow any recommendations found in the test report.

Check Computer Connection to Your Network

  • Ensure your computer is connected to the correct network and can access the internet.

Ensure Printer is Connected to Your Network

  • Print the Network Configuration Page from the control panel to verify that the printer is connected to the correct network.

Check Firewall Settings

  • Ensure that the firewall software on your computer is not blocking communication between the printer and the computer. Temporarily disable the firewall and try accessing the Embedded Web Server (EWS) of the printer.

Additional Tips

  • Make sure the HP OfficeJet Pro device is set as the default printer driver (Windows only).
  • Ensure HP Network Devices Support service is running on Windows (if applicable).

Following these steps should help resolve issues with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9120e printer being offline and unable to connect to the wireless internet.

I hope this helps.
