Common problems for Connectivity Issues
We would like to share some of the most frequently asked questions about Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status. Check out this link: HP printer is offline or unavailable.
HP Recommended
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Originally I was very pleased with the purchase of my new HP OfficeJet #8015e, received 07 Nov 2023 from ‘Best Buys on line’. However, after less than a month usage, on 26 Nov 2023 after an apparent automatic overnight HP + online 'Update', I’m not able to use this Printer / Scanner. The 8015e Control panel first shows the message "REFLASH 1 2 3 4 5", then awhile later only a "HP" logo, and now a completely Off blank Control panel screen. It will not allow the 8015e to go 'On line' as it apparently, has changed the Wifi Port configuration to (192.168.2.169), that my HP Computer says is ‘invalid’ and also disabled the 8015e Power switch. This prevents any communication with the 8015e, as it now shows ‘Offline’ on my computer. The 8015e is plugged into the 120 VAC. wall receptacle, it now does absolutely nothing! I have tried everything that “HP.com/support” ‘virtual agent’ has suggested to no avail.

I am however, still able to use Wifi (192.168.2.161) on my HP LaserJet CP1025nw printer as before. It is also plugged into the same 120 VAC. wall dual receptacle.
