HP Office Jet Pro 9015 suddenly stopped printing. It is hardwired, and when I try to print it is not responding. There is a question mark below the lit panel. Worked yesterday and has up to date firmware. Sending from a Mac running Sonoma 14.5. Any idea how to fix?

To resolve the issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 showing offline and a question mark on the lit panel, follow these steps:
Check Error Messages
- Printer Display: Look for error messages on the printer display and resolve them by following the onscreen instructions.
Verify Connections
- Disconnect and reconnect the printer to ensure the wired connection is secure.
Verify Printer Status
- Printer Paused/Offline:
- On your Mac, go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Click Open Print Queue.
- Make sure there are no check marks next to Pause Printing or Use Printer Offline.
Set as Default Printer
- Ensure the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 is set as the default printer:
- In System Preferences, click Printers & Scanners.
- Right-click the correct printer and select Set as Default Printer.
Clear the Print Queue
- Clear the print queue:
- In Printers & Scanners, click Open Print Queue.
- Click Cancel all documents or Purge Print Document.
- Restart your computer if necessary.
Power Connection and Restart
- Ensure the power cord is firmly connected to the printer.
- If the Power button is not lit, press the button to turn on the printer.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 15 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
- If the printer does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
- Try using the printer again.
