My printer won't connect to the Internet. I've tried EVERYTHING suggested on hp Printer Wi-Fi, Connectivity Issues and Offline Status web page. It says I need to go to settings/restore network settings, but it is locked☹️ My husband set up the printer and he said he did not recall creating a user name and password. So, I'm locked out! 😥

Help please! How do I do a factory reset?

Thanks in advance for your help! I greatly appreciate it! 😀

After doing many searches regarding this issue, I figured out how to fix this on my own! 😃 The user name defaults to: Admin and the password is the PIN that I found along with the serial number on the inside of the printer by the ink.

After I was able to login, I selected Settings/Restore Network Settings. After that, I had to TURN OFF my printer for a few minutes and then turn it back on (REBOOT). I was then able to set up my wi-fi by selecting the same network as my laptop and entering the password.

NO NEED TO DO A FACTORY RESET!!!

Best of luck to you! 😃
